Pants that fit

 I dearly love this thrifted ivory tunic, but previous attempts to wear it have not always been successful. I suspect a slim, sleek pair of pants would work, but not leggings -- somehow it still needed a bit of heft, if you know what I mean. But I think with my black skinnies I've finally nailed this ivory tunic!

Slim pants (Zara) mitigate the length and A-line of the tunic, so I don't seem to be melting into a fabric puddle. High high heels (Payless) also create the illusion of height (hah!). The sturdiness of the fabric also helps, because somehow I don't think this would work quite as well as with thin leggings.

Accessories for interest: Collective.com statement necklace adds interest to break up all that shiny white. I also went for casual leather and steel bracelets (Bosquejo, Bead Club and H&M) instead of a sleek bangle to bring this look down a notch or two.
